CoinVoila ("CoinVoila," "we," "us," or "our") is a private, invite-only iOS application for scanning graded coin slabs, looking up wholesale pricing, and assembling inventory lots. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices available to you. The app is currently available by invitation only and is not directed to children.

1. Who this applies to

CoinVoila accounts are created by invitation only; there is no public sign-up at this time. If you are using CoinVoila, your account was created for you when you were invited. This policy covers the CoinVoila iOS app and the website at coinvoila.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you are invited, we store the email address used for your account and basic profile details needed to sign you in and attribute your activity within the shared workspace.

Coin and inventory data you create

• Scan data. When you scan a graded coin slab, the app reads the certification number, grade, and related label text using your device camera and on-device text recognition, and may capture images of the slab.
• Pricing and lot data. The wholesale bid retrieved for a coin, the values recorded at scan time, and the lots, totals, and notes you build are stored as part of the shared workspace.

Camera

The app uses your device camera solely to scan slabs (barcodes and label text). Recognition runs on your device. We do not access your camera for any other purpose, and the app does not access your photo library unless you explicitly choose to.

Diagnostic and crash data

To keep the app reliable, we collect crash reports and technical error diagnostics through our monitoring provider. This data is configured to scrub personal information before it is sent. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and the app does not include advertising or behavioral tracking.

3. How we use information

• To authenticate you and operate the shared, multi-user workspace.
• To look up wholesale pricing for coins you scan.
• To maintain inventory lots, running totals, and exports (e.g., CSV).
• To diagnose crashes and errors and improve reliability.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

4. Pricing lookups

To retrieve a wholesale bid, the app sends the coin's identifying details (such as the certification or catalog number and grade) to our backend, which queries a licensed pricing data source. We do not sell your data to these providers; the request is made only to return a price.

5. Service providers

We use a small set of trusted providers to run the app. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and backend functions (data hosting).
• Apple — app distribution and device platform services.
• Sentry — crash and error diagnostics (with personal information scrubbed).
• A licensed coin-pricing data provider — wholesale price lookups.
• An email delivery provider — to deliver support messages you send us.

6. How information is shared

CoinVoila is a shared workspace: data you create (scans, lots, totals) is visible to other invited users with access to the same workspace. We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with third parties except the service providers above, or where required by law.

7. Data retention

Because CoinVoila is a financial inventory record, scan and ledger entries are retained rather than permanently erased; when an item is removed it is marked as removed and kept for recordkeeping. Account and diagnostic data are retained as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data as described below.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our hosting provider under access controls. Upstream credentials are held server-side only and are never embedded in the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below. Because CoinVoila is invite-only, account creation and removal are managed by us as part of the invitation process.

10. Children's privacy

CoinVoila is intended for use by invited adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate.
